Outsourcing is a work place strategy that improves profitability. Outsourcing saves time and money. It's about holding on and letting go at the same time. Outsourcing can help you succeed.
Outsourcing is when an organization utilizes outside, independent workers to conduct tasks. Some examples of outsourced tasks are:
- Payroll services
- Tax preparation
- Accounting, Payable and Receivable
- Computer related tasks, such as repair or web design and maintenance
- Office cleaning
You may make baskets or own a web design company. When it comes time to do your monthly accounting, you might not have the knowledge on how to do this function. Your specialty is basket making or web design. What do you do? Fumble through it and half-heartedly keep books or hire someone to do this function for you who has the expertise and knowledge in that area?
You can relax and not dread when you have to make the books balance and can be assured the job is being done correctly. All without hiring an employee and worrying about taking out taxes or paying medical benefits!
This leaves you more time to do what you're good at — hence more success.
